ADMISSION CRITERIA

SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES

SUBSTANCE ABUSE INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (SAIOP)

Is a structured individual or group addiction activity to assist adults to begin recovery and learn recovery maintained skills.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE NON-MEDICAL COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT

A supervised facility that provides intensive service for adolescents 17 years of age and younger or individuals with Substance Abuse Disorders who have to provide primary care for a minor child..

SUBSTANCE ABUSE MEDICALLY MONITORED COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT

A rehabilitation facility for adults with medical/nurse monitoring, direct evaluation, and care/treatment for restoration of individuals with alcohol and other drug or addiction problems occurrences.

DETOXIFICATION SERVICES

An outpatient service providing medically supervised evaluations, detoxification, and referral services.

MOTHERS/CHILDREN WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE RESIDENTIAL RECOVERY FACILITY

IPA carries a residential facility that provides trained staff to work intensively with individuals with Substance Abuse Disorders and have the potential to provide primary care for their children.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE HALFWAY HOUSE

IPA will provide clinically managed low intensity residential services in our 24-hour facility where the primary purpose of these services is the rehabilitation of individuals who have a substance abuse disorder and who require supervision when in the residence.

NON-HOSPITAL MEDICAL DETOXIFICATION

IPA offers a program that is designed to provide 24-hour medically supervised and withdrawal management in a permanent facility affiliated with a hospital or in a freestanding facility of 16 beds or less. This program is designed to help the client to withdraw from the use of alcohol or other drugs and prepare the client to enter into an extensive treatment or rehabilitation program.

OUTPATIENT DETOXIFICATION

IPA provides a periodic service that provides supportive services on withdrawal from alcohol and other drugs, with the appropriate medical, nursing, and specialized substance abuse service.

SOCIAL SETTING DETOXIFICATION

IPA provides observation and support for an individual who may be intoxicated or experiencing withdrawal symptoms that requires 24- hour structure and support.

NON-HOSPITAL MEDICAL DETOXIFICATION

This is a medically supervised evaluation and withdrawal management in a facility of 16 beds or less.

ADATC DETOXIFICATION/CRISIS STABILIZATION

This service delivered with medical supervision evaluation and withdrawal management in a permanent facility with inpatient beds.

 

THERAPEUTIC HOMES FOR CHILDREN AND

ADOLESCENTS

IPA provides professionally trained parent-substitutes that work intensively with a adolescent/child who is emotionally disturbed or have substance abuse problems or both.

SUPERVISED LIVING FOR INDVIDUALS WITH MR/MI/SAS

IPA provides the primary service of caring, rehabilitating, and habilitating individuals with DD, MI, and SAS problems.

SPECIALIZED FOSTER CARE FACILITY

The Specialized Foster Care Services provide individual support services up to the age of 21 with MI or DD who are in the custody of DSS or parents are entering into a Boarding Home Contract Agreement.

FACILITIES FOR UMSTEAD CLIENTS

These clients are currently receiving services from the state and are being transformed form a skilled living setting into an independent living program service.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS OF ALL DISABILITITY

This is a program that provides periodic support service for individuals 16 years of age or older with MI, DD, and SAD to work as independent as possible on a job with DVRS.

CASE MANAGEMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS

This is the planning and coordination of service being carried out on behalf of the individual. Providing advocacy and monitoring to the client needs.

EMERGENCY/INDIVIDUAL SERVICES

This service is provided after the immediate screening or assessment of presenting problem has been determined.

 

OUTPATIENT SERVICES

This service is provided to individuals that are classified as a part of a disability, family, or group setting for short visits for treatment, habilitation, or rehabilitation.

COMPANION RESPITE SERVICE

This is a service that can be provided in different settings, own home, group home, or other location that may not be subject to licensure.

PERSONAL ASSISTANCE

Is a service that helps the clients to engage in activities and have interactions that the client may otherwise be limited or excluded from because of their disability.

DAILY ACTIVITY

IPA provides service for a substantial part of the day in a group setting to individuals who are MI/DD/SAD

SUPPORTED INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM

This program serves individuals affected by disabilities who are capable of living own their own, but requires little assistance with day-to-day dealings of independence.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT ADULTS

Provides coordination of movement across levels of care, directly to the person and their family and coordinates discharge planning and community re-entry following hospitalization, residential services, and other levels of care.

CAP MR/DD

The Community Alternatives Program for persons with Mental Retardation/Developmental Disabilities (CAP-MR/DD) is a special community medical care program.  IPA provides a service to assist individuals in developing personal responsibility for their lives and to help them increase their independent living skills.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT CHILDREN

Service that will provide respite care and personal care services to a client within the population being served.

RESIDENTIAL SERVICE

A service provided in a 24-hour living environment in a non-hospital setting that room, board, and supervision are integral part of the care, treatment, habilitation, or rehabilitation provided to the individual.
